Payment Policy

This Payment Policy sets out how payment works at Veladi: what we accept, when you are charged, and how your payment information is protected.

1. Accepted payment method

Veladi accepts PayPal.

PayPal is our sole payment method. At checkout you will be redirected to PayPal to authorize your payment, then returned to our store to complete your order. A PayPal account is required.

Because payment is handled entirely within PayPal's environment, Veladi never receives, processes or stores your card or bank details at any point.

2. Payment processing

When you are charged. By completing checkout you authorize Veladi to charge the total order amount through PayPal. The payment is authorized when you place your order and captured when we confirm it, which is the point the contract is formed. We do not take partial payments, deposits or deferred charges.

Currency. All prices on veladi.com are displayed and charged in USD (US Dollars).

Order confirmation. Once payment is authorized you will receive an order confirmation email at the address on your PayPal account or the address supplied at checkout. This email is your proof of purchase and you will need it if you later request a return.

3. Pricing and taxes

Displayed prices. Prices shown on our website exclude sales tax. Any applicable sales tax is calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping address.

No hidden fees. The total shown at checkout — product price plus any applicable sales tax — is the final amount you will be charged. Shipping is free, and there are no handling, service or processing fees. The only charge we would bill you after checkout is a redelivery fee where a parcel is returned to us because the shipping address was incorrect, as set out in our Shipping Policy.

Pricing errors. We take care to display prices accurately. If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before processing your order and give you the choice of confirming the purchase at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will never charge you more than the price you agreed to at checkout without your consent.

4. Secure checkout

All pages on veladi.com are served over an SSL-encrypted HTTPS connection. Payment authorization happens inside PayPal's own secure environment, which maintains PCI DSS compliance for card data handling.

Veladi will never ask you for payment details by email, telephone, text message or social media. If you receive a message claiming to be from us and requesting payment information, do not respond to it — forward it to support@veladi.com instead.

5. Declined or failed payments

If your payment is declined:

1. Confirm the funding source linked to your PayPal account is valid and has sufficient balance.
2. Check with your bank or card issuer for holds or restrictions on the account.
3. Try an alternative funding source within PayPal.
4. If the problem persists, contact us at support@veladi.com and we will help where we can.

Veladi is not responsible for fees your bank or PayPal may charge in connection with a declined or reversed transaction. A declined payment means no order has been created — nothing will ship until payment is successfully authorized.

6. Fraud prevention

Veladi reserves the right to hold or cancel any order flagged as potentially fraudulent, or where payment verification cannot be completed. If this happens we will contact you using the details provided at checkout. Orders under verification may be delayed beyond our stated processing times, and any order we cancel for this reason is refunded in full.
