This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Veladi collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

1. Who we are

Veladi is an online store operated by Veladi, 4784 Bates Brothers Road, Columbus, OH 43214, United States. We are the party responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question, contact support@veladi.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, contact support, or sign up for our newsletter, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, billing address and telephone number.

Payment information. Payment is processed by PayPal. Veladi does not collect or store card numbers, bank details or PayPal credentials. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded, along with the transaction reference and the name and address associated with the order.

Information collected automatically. When you browse veladi.com we collect device and browser type, operating system, IP address, referring website, pages viewed, and time spent on the site. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.

Information from support contact. If you email us or use our contact form, we keep the correspondence and anything you include in it so we can resolve your enquiry and refer back to it if you contact us again.

3. How we use your information

• to process, fulfil and dispatch your orders
• to send transactional messages: order confirmation, shipping confirmation, delivery updates
• to handle returns, refunds and support enquiries
• to send marketing email, where you have opted in
• to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions
• to understand how our store is used so we can improve it
• to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with parties who need it to run the store:

• Shopify, which hosts veladi.com and processes order data
• PayPal, which processes payments
• Shipping carriers and our fulfillment partners, who receive the name and address needed to deliver your order
• Our order tracking provider, which supplies tracking status for your parcel
• Our email provider, which sends transactional and marketing messages
• Analytics providers, which receive usage data about how the site is used
• Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we never have. We do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, remember your cart, and understand site usage. Our Cookie Policy explains which cookies we use, which are essential, which are optional, and how to change your preferences at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to:

• request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
• ask us to delete your personal information
• object to or restrict how we process it
• withdraw consent to marketing at any time
• receive your information in a portable format

To exercise any of these, email support@veladi.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, to make sure we are not disclosing your information to someone else.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Veladi does not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA.

Marketing email. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing messages but not transactional ones — we will still send order and shipping confirmations for purchases you make.

7. How long we keep it

Order records, including name, address and transaction details, are retained for seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Support correspondence is kept for three years. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for 26 months.

8. International transfers

Veladi is based in the United States and our website is hosted by Shopify. Some of our fulfillment partners and service providers operate outside the United States, so the name, delivery address and order details needed to pick, pack and dispatch your order may be transferred to and processed in another country.

Where personal information is transferred outside the United States, we require appropriate contractual safeguards from the provider receiving it, and the information is used only to fulfil your order.

9. Security

We use SSL encryption across veladi.com, restrict access to personal information to people who need it to do their job, and rely on established providers — Shopify and PayPal — for hosting and payment handling. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these measures seriously.

10. Children

Veladi is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact support@veladi.com and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated by email where we hold your address.
